About Jordan Holtz:
Jordan Holtz has been active on the seacoast music scene since the early 2010s. She is the bassist and one of the lead vocalists of local slacker punk rock outfit Rick Rude. You may also recognize her from NH folk rock project Footings, and shoe gaze post-punk band Sponge Head. She has opened for a wide variety of musical acts, including Diane Cluck, Pile, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Vapors of Morphine and Ovlov to name a few. Holtz’s band Rick Rude have several LPs and EPs under their belt. Most recently they released LP “Laverne” in 2024 on Midnight Werewolf and Best Brother records.

Holtz released her introductory solo EP “Not Close for Comfort” back in 2023 on Pretty Purgatory Records. Though her main project Rick Rude is a fast, loud and wild experience, her solo performances are stripped down, letting the bass shine as a lead instrument. Her songs are slow and somber, posing questions about life, love and the inner workings of the human brain.
