Fundraising Coordinator

Part-time / 20 - 24 hours per week

3S Artspace seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, and relationship-focused part-time Fundraising Coordinator to support the growth and sustainability of 3S Artspace’s fundraising efforts. This individual will work closely with the Executive Director (ED) and the Board of Directors to manage donor relations, prospecting activities, and our donor database. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for the arts, and the ability to cultivate and maintain positive relationships with donors and prospects.

Position Responsibilities

  • Database Management:
    • Maintain and update the donor database (currently Little Green Light) to ensure accurate, up-to-date information on donor contact details, giving history, and engagement activities.
    • Input and track donations, ensuring all donor information is correctly recorded and accessible for future engagement and reporting.
    • Provide reports and insights on donor giving patterns, trends, and opportunities.

  • Relationship Management:
    • Ensure timely acknowledgment of donations and maintain regular communication with donors to express appreciation and keep them informed about the impact of their support.
    • Schedule and coordinate regular check-ins with donors, ensuring a personalized approach to cultivation and stewardship.
    • Work with the ED to ensure that major donors and high-priority prospects are receiving appropriate attention and follow-up.
    • Coordinate donor meetings and prepare materials, including briefing documents and talking points for the ED and Board members.
    • Help implement donor engagement strategies, including invitations to special events and exhibitions.

  • Prospect Management:
    • Collaborate with the ED and Board members to identify new prospective donors and partners.
    • Conduct research on potential donors to assess alignment with 3S Artspace’s mission and fundraising goals.
    • Assist in developing tailored approaches for engaging prospective donors.

  • Fundraising Support:
    • Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, events, and appeals.
    • Track fundraising progress against goals and assist in reporting on outcomes.
    • Provide administrative support for fundraising initiatives, including creating donor acknowledgments and thank-you letters.

  • Board and Executive Director Collaboration:
    • Partner with the Board and ED to coordinate prospecting activities, ensuring all tasks and actions are appropriately tracked and followed up on.
    • Attend and support board meetings as needed, providing updates on fundraising progress and prospect engagement efforts.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in non-profit management, fundraising, arts administration, or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, development, or donor relations, preferably in the arts or non-profit sector.
  • Strong experience with donor database management (familiarity with Little Green Light or similar systems preferred).
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage donors and stakeholders in a professional and personable manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Compensation

  • This is a part-time position (20 - 24 hours per week) with an hourly rate of $28 - $33, commensurate with experience.
