About Moxie:

The press has difficulty describing Moxie. Warm adjectives like "Effervescent" and "Soulful" have been used to describe their comforting indie-rock; still, with two full length LPs, few can accurately articulate what makes the independent outfit so addictive. Nestled atop head-bobbing backbeats, funky guitar voicings share the spotlight with melodic, bouncing basslines to create rich, indulgent instrumentation that only Rei Kimura's eminent croon could occupy.
